Hello! It’s Friday!

That’s it. We’re done. The garden is over. After my neighbors all threatened to steal the last of my lush, red tomatoes hanging from their dwindling vines, I completed my last harvest. Naturally, I made my super simple roasted tomato sauce to coat cheesy ravioli with my last zucchini made oh so simply delish with butter and grated Parm. And it was divine. What a way to end summer’s bounty! Now, bring on the Christmas tree! Oh yes, it’s going up SOON!
And that means it’s time to start your Xmas shopping. Start your gift giving right with this amazing advent calendar featuring one of my favorite candle brands with 12 days of 12 different scents. Spoil me, please! And it’s 20% off!

Amy
It seems weird to comment on a Friday Faves, but I have to disagree with the bogus kitchen trends article from Sunset regarding induction cooktops. For those of us in all electric houses, it’s the only way to go. I didn’t know it was a trend, but have been cooking that way for about thirty years.
Good to know Amy. I’ve heard a lot of good things about induction stove tops too!
