Hello and happy 2020!!!
I’m happily moving at a slow burn in getting myself back to work. It’s like I am currently the human version of the directional arrow on my Maps app where I tap the arrow to re-center and focus on what route I want to take in the new year ahead.
Taking a break from the norm is the best thing any of us can do to rediscover momentum and renewed vigor for our daily tasks, no matter how much we enjoy them.
That’s why stepping away from my regularly scheduled programming here on le blog, and spending a big chunk of this vacation with my family is exactly what I needed this holiday. We skiied. We movied. We visited, laughed, and talked about old memories while creating new ones.
And we ate a whole lot of awesomeness like our New Years day crab benedicts above, topped with my 3-minute homemade hollandaise sauce. Yes, they ARE that good! Leave a comment at the end of the post if want me to put the recipe on the blog.
I’ll be back next week with new and refreshed recipes geared toward living tastefully and mostly healthy :). Until then, take a breath, relax, and enjoy the rest of this somewhat extended holiday by digging into the rest of this week’s Friday Faves.
