Hello and welcome to Friday!
Who else was feeling the time change this week? The first two days I was pretty off my game but by Wednesday I was up and at ’em and feeling like I had a whole lot more time in my morning. Not sure how but I did! It was also nice having it light during dinnertime so I could snap a pic of one of the easiest dinners here on the blog: My grandma’s recipe for pork schnitzel. I tested a sweet and sour cabbage recipe I’ve been working on and I am here to report, NAILED IT! I’ll be sharing it soon.
My husband thought he’d had the measles vaccine but his mom reminded him he had measles in high school. It was so bad he had it on the inside of his eyelids! He couldn’t believe he’d forgotten about it, it was so terribly painful. Like me and childbirth, he conveniently forgot the pain :). Well, at least he’s immune now. This may leave you wondering, are you protected from the measles?
We’re about 5 episodes into season 3 of White Lotus and it’s finally starting to get going. I love Thailand and Koh Samui so I was super excited for it. So far it’s not quite as drama filled as the previous seasons so I’m waiting for some serious action.
In my previous career as a creative director and designer, I pretty much lived in Photoshop and now it is finally coming to the iPhone. Guess they finally felt the pinch from so many other easy-to-use photo editing apps and so decided to release their own. It may be too little too late. We shall see.
