Hello hello, and happy Friday.
This week was my segue into fall. Thanks to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Hilary, we had a few drizzly, low-temp, a-typical August days and it had me feeling all the fall feels. Cuddling up under a blanket, a general lack of productivity, and soup sounded so much better to fulfill our snug cravings than the summery grilled salmon dinner we had planned. So we switched the mode and made our first batch of my husband’s favorite soup and it totally fit the bill. Cravings cured! Then, yesterday, the skies cleared, the temps rose, and we were back to grilling our dinner faves. But that preview of autumn’s easy ways made me almost okay with waving goodbye to summer. Almost. Because even though Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back, I still have to work on my tan.
But first, let’s dig into this week’s list of Friday Faves. Enjoy!
