Oh well hello there! Happy Friday!
This past week, all of the sudden, my garden grew by leaps and bounds. The tomatoes are blossoming to make baby maters, our first cucumber is ready to pluck, and the lettuce has been going gangbusters. And that meant our fave Thai chicken lettuce wraps were on this week’s menu.
This week we met with our accountant. Most people dread meeting about their taxes, but we love Cammy. She always looks forward, advising us on the best ways to plan for the future. It’s beyond comforting to have a team that looks out for us and we can trust. I highly rec’d finding one for yourself.
Just like me, Cammy told us she’s been challenged with transitioning from living life in the neutral zone. Getting back to work and finding focus has been rough but she’s slowly rediscovering her footing. On the flip side, she’s living more freely, and loving it. She’s given herself permission to take time for herself. To slow down. To realize work isn’t what defines her. Now, she leaves the office early to go paddle boarding with her husband and takes time midday for her daughter’s soccer games. And that’s what’s feeling like an even better-than-before normal now.
So if you’re feeling groggy coming out of the 20/21 coma, give yourself some grace! Re-assess and put yourself first. Because you’re the only YOU you’ve got. See! Accountants CAN deliver great news!
Now, let’s dig into this week’s Friday Faves.

Shopping in person again is SO GOOD! We did a sweep through Crate & Barrel and this is what caught my eye:
- This super cool set-up makes it simple to cook pizzas on the grill. I am so ordering.
- I sat on this sofa and I didn’t want to get up. 100% nap approved.
- This duvet cover was cozy soft with just the right bit of design.
- These are the mixing bowls I have in my kitchen and I give to every new bride and groom.
- Def spendy, but this adirondack chair is so cool looking and actually great to sit in it almost justifies the price. Almost.
