Hi all and Happy Friday Faves!
This is my last week of travel for the year and while I’ve been loving being out and about and seeing the sights for the past 2 months, I am ready to cocoon up in my house and be ready for the holidays.
Last week I was on a whirlwind trip to Cincinnati, OH, where we scoped out Vine Street and Over the Rhine, and lusted after the doughnuts at Cincinnati’s favorite Holtman’s Donuts above—thanks for the tip, my friends on Instagram.
The next day we headed to Kroger headquarters, one of my favorite partners and parent company of my favorite local grocery store, Smith’s Food & Drug.
They brought their blogging ambassadors to Cincinnati to give us the full immersion on ClickList, their new service where you can shop at home, at the office, mobile, or wherever you have an internet connection.
With ClickList you simply scroll through all of their products (yes! the produce is top-notch, too!) and place your order. Then you simply drive to the store to pick it up, already bagged and ready to go. They’ll even deliver it to your car. It’s perfect for anyone who is time-management-starved and craves handing off a task on the to-do list.
Just think…shopping in you furry robe with a hot cup of coffee? Sounds pretty fab to me. And while I love to stroll every single aisle of the grocery store (just ask my husband), it’s going to totally come in handy with the holidays creeping around the corner.
During our visit to Kroger, we visited the largest Kroger in the U.S., over 150,000 square feet! And not only that, but their self-serve food area is crazy!
Street tacos, a pizza oven and waaiiiiit for it. A craft beer and wine bar! IN THE GROCERY STORE! No. I am not kidding. You can even walk around and sip while you shop. I’ll soon be sharing the recipe I created for our Kroger Blogging Banquet here on the blog, so keep an eye out for that. If you want to see more from the trip, check out #bloggerbanquet on Instagram.
This weekend I’m at Deer Valley Resort for our 4th Annual Better Blog Retreat. It’s a weekend where we’ve invited bloggers and brands to meet together for an intimate weekend of goal setting, reflection and brainstorming to make all our businesses better. If you want to follow along, check out #bbretreat on Instagram or follow me on Snapchat. And of course, I’ll be sharing more here on the blog soon.
But enough about me, let’s dig into this week’s Friday Faves! Have a fab one friends.
