Hello! It’s Friday Faves friends!

As I write this, I’m watching the wind whip the burnished golds, oranges, and garnet red leaves from the trees. Due to an extra-dry summer, I was doubtful we’d have much of a leaf show this year, but boy was I wrong! The leaves have shown off big time. Watching their flurry makes me want to cuddle up and slurp on a bowl of comforting savory soup while I post and scroll through Pinterest as I cheer on my Utah Jazz. I’m ready for fall, winter, and all that comes with it — especially the food!
This month has all things pointing to Thanksgiving, and my list of recipes coming your way is ready for it. Think easy make-ahead side dishes and tasty ideas for leftovers. Get ready food lovers.

It’s hhheeeeerrre! So here are a few of my favorites from Oprah’s Favorite Things 2025 gift list:
- I own several pairs of these readers, and each year it seems I need them more and more :).
- A weighted vest, because everybody’s doing it.
- The big splurge: This indoor countertop pizza oven.
- This puffer coat hits at just the right length at just the right price.
- This 6 qt. air fryer that’s 25% off!
My friend Courtney is bingeing this show, and I must say, it looks quite enticing. I love Robin Wright.
I’m a fan of using real dinner plates at parties (I’ve had these for years), but sometimes paper plates can save the day. This stylish brand is head and shoulders over the flimsy grocery store type, and so chic they may even fool your dinner guests into thinking they’re eating on china!
This is how classic British sausage rolls get an elevated lift with major flavor.
Add these powder sugar dusted cookies to your must-make Christmas cookie list.
I nominate salmon crudo for every meal.
Add mushrooms to anything and I am an instant fan, making this rice dish one I’d pull out my pom poms for.
Is it a chessboard or a tasty, briny, appetizer? You be the judge.
Get your EFA quotient in every bowl of this salmon curry.
Make these chipotle chicken burrito bowls for dinner and again the next day for lunch.
Another reason to love cottage cheese: Cottage cheese gnocchi.
Last weekend we made Korean short ribs, so now I want to try this miso maple short ribs recipe too.
Chocolate + pie = dream scene.
These potato wedges look bangin’!
Butternut squash bread makes perfect sense to me.
Game day isn’t the same without a buffalo chicken bite.
Mini pumpkin pies, portion control AND cute.
Or, feed more than a few with a sheet pan pumpkin pie.
I like to test my beauty products before investing in them, which makes this winter skin care kit a great idea for gifting a glorious glow to yourself or a friend — and this brand won’t break the bank.
5 fashion rules to get you through the holiday season.
I just ordered this two-way hooded scarf to keep my neck toasty while I’m out and about.
The chill is real, and for our pupper dogs too! Here are some ideas to keep them safe and warm:
- I have these cold-weather booties for our 13 year-old Zoee because she would be pissed if she missed her daily walk. Their new design is easy to put on, and stay on.
- This warm winter coat for dogs has a high neck that makes the fit easier and super stylin’ too.
- Keep you and your pet skid-free with pet-friendly ice melt for the walks and driveway.
- I bought Trader Joe’s advent calendar for dogs. And there’s one for cats, too.
Traveling in the car for the holidays? Keep all your gadgets charged with this retractable car charger.
