Hello friends! It’s Friday Faves!

Simple dinners (and lunches) are the key to me enjoying more time outside during summer, hanging with family and friends, and taking more time for myself instead of more time making meals. Don’t get me wrong, I will happily cook a full spread of bbq baby back ribs, potato salad, pasta salad, baked beans whenever the occasion arises. But for quick eats, a bowl of udon in miso broth with shiitake mushrooms and my favorite crispy tofu totally hits the spot in mere minutes. Slurpa lurpa, good.
Don’t let a quest for perfection get in the way of a good time: Whey we need to start lowering our get-together standards.
This will be me and my college sorority sisters.
5 shows to watch on Netflix now, and beat the summer heat.
Mark my words, next year my Utah Jazz will be in the NBA playoffs—maybe just eeking their way in, but they’ll represent. We’re watching the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks square off for the championship, and seeing those games in NYC makes one wonder, how do those celebrities get those astronomically expensive courtside seats, and do they pay for them, or not?
This farmers’ market bag is so smart, with dividers so your produce/flowers/fun finds don’t get squished or squashed by one another.
I love getting fresh eggs from my local egg farmer, but thinking about where they’ve been kind of sketches me out, which is why when I read these tips on how to clean farm-fresh eggs, I felt a whole lot better.
This marinating tray set will upgrade your BBQ game and it’s $50 less than this one (unless you want to spend more for the extra rack).
Having restaurant-style food containers with sturdy lids on hand for storage and meal sharing with neighbors is one of my must-have kitchen go-tos. And they’re on Prime Day sale.
This creamy chicken pasta is classically cozy but fresh and flavorful.
Cool, refreshing, and a total pucker-upper.
This flavor-bomb chicken dinner is a great way to get this essential antioxidant in your diet.
As a kid, my mom convinced me I was allergic to walnuts like her. But I’m not so sure these days, because I’ve had them with no problems, which means I should probably test that theory again with these divine-looking brownies.
Creamy yet light at the same time, this lemony pasta has the perfect summer vibes.
Cilantro, lime, and chunks of salmon make these kababs kick!
Thanks to sour cream, this has to be some seriously moist coconut cake.
Bookmark this cheesy recipe when eggplant is at its farmers’ market glory.
Wow, this lentil salad is positively glowing with good health.
I could make a whole dinner out of this cheesy appetizer.
Hot honey makes everything taste better, especially this salami sandwich.
This ultra-creamy cheesecake has a fresh cherry topping to die for. Take a look and see for yourself.
This summer orzo salad has dollops upon dollops of my fave burrata.
Pickles perk up these crispy chicken bowls in the best of ways.
And this beautifully bronzed Mediterranean salmon is ready in just 30 minutes.
If you’re craving a healthful summery dinner loaded with protein, this fish recipe has your number.
My daughter would LOVE this cake. But then again, who wouldn’t?
I think the only time I’ve had this chia pudding flavor was in the Delta Lounge before a trip. It was pretty good there, and probs way better here.
We are going to Japan and South Korea soon, and it is going to be HOT! My friend recommended these handheld mini fans that saved her when she was there. My weather map suggests they’d be good for traveling through Europe this summer, too. Hot, hot, hot.
I don’t remember if I shared two new dresses I picked up on a Target run, this one with a tank-style top and flared skirt, and this one with a little ruching at the belly (both are now 40% off and weren’t when I bought them), that will be perfect for travel and most anything else.
I also bought this travel makeup bag and this pouch set, too, since I couldn’t decide.
These slim Tevas are extra cute and come in such sweet colors.
My sister-in-law visited our cabin and fell head over heels for my coffee frother. I’ve shared it before, but it is seriously the best one out there so it deserves another mention — and I’ve tried three other brands that didn’t add up.
8 morning habits to help lower blood pressure. Mine will go down once I’m back from traveling through airports.
And that’s it for this week! Have a grand weekend everyone!
