I’m back baby! I have no idea how I caught it, but this week I was down and out with the gomboo. I’m 97% sure my cure and saving grace was sleeping all day then slurping my husband’s deliciously magical healing elixir at night: Matzo ball soup in bed—with his rich and savory homemade chicken broth no less! He likes to cut the veggies extra chunky and adds plenty of dill. It’s so soothing, so perfect. My guy knows how to wipe that fever right out of my head.
Come Sunday we will be springing forward into Daylight Saving Time with later sunsets and one less hour of sleep. And no, they aren’t doing away with it yet.
