It’s Friday! Welcome to this week’s faves!

The time is finally here! Last weekend we hit one of my favorite farmers’ market stands with my full intention of finding juicy, ripe, local tomatoes, which became my reality. Adding those amazing red orbs to my bag meant that thick and juicy slices were headed for that night’s dinnertime BLT sandwiches. We can never have BLTs without a side of cottage cheese and my dill pickles, plus a few ears of fresh corn to keep things perfectly summery. By the way, if you live in Utah and have yet to visit Pettingill’s Fruit Farm on Fruit Way in Willard, it’s worth the drive just for the fresh peach shakes.
While at the farmers’ market, I also picked up a bunch of peaches to make this.
But I’ve also never tried to make peach melba, so I may need to give it a try.
I love the flavor play of this chicken dinner!

I bought a package of ice cream bars last week (chocolate and nuts, always!), but these homemade ice cream bars are probably a lot better for me.
