Happy Friday, friends!
In This Post
What a week of unabashed celebration! First we had Pi(e) Day that saw my Instagram feed blow up into virtual tour of Marie Callenders. After, we quickly rolled into the luck o’ the Irishfest with St. Paddy’s Day and all the corned beef and cabbage plus green beer you could shake a stick at.
And now, it’s the weekend! In my opinion, that’s a reason in itself to celebrate.
Smudge’s class at school celebrated Pi Day by bringing pie to school. Being my daughter and a FINE Key Lime Pie maker and baker, there was no chance she would be persuaded to take a store-bought pie to school. So instead, she made her signature key lime (recipe coming soon!) and at the request of her friends, I baked Smudge’s signature Birthday Cake Pie.
Which one was the stand-out? She came home with two empty pie plates so I gotta bet on both.
I’m cramming it all in this weekend and next with client photo shoots, recipe writing and blog posting (fingers crossed I get it all done!) because I have a busy few weeks of travel coming up and I’m hoping to be playing instead of blogging. Spring break! Girls trip! Let’s all get away and get our Vitamin D on!
But enough about me, let’s dig into this week’s Friday Faves. How about that?!?!?
This is just the cutest. Just watch and see.
