Hello hello and happy Friday!
It’s Friday Faves and my favorite time of the year! Happy December everyone! Sure, there’s lots of hustle and bustle and commitments galore that can leave one feeling drained or overwhelmed, but only if you let it. For me, my golden holiday rule is to make boundaries and just say, “no” if I’m not feeling it. ‘Tis the season to find the joy for oneself and not feel obligated to create joy for others—especially if it’s a one-way giving street. So this holiday, instead of it being all about others, put yourself first. It’ll be the best gift of the season.
Next Friday, my Smudge comes home from school and I cannot wait! Her favorite thing is this cinnamon rolls recipe (it’s the only one I’ll make) so my plan is to have some ready for her to eat the next morning. They are DIVINE! I just might join her.
But first, let’s dig into this week’s list of Friday Faves. Enjoy!
