Hello and happy Friday!
Who could imagine that with all the wishes that this year would just be over already that we are only one week from Christmas and two weeks from the new year? It’s finally here. Hallelujah.
2020 brought a whole lotta change for a whole lot of us … as in every.single.one.of.us. This year I finally let go of things. Expectations of others, pressures I put on myself, and the belief I had to live my life on a schedule. I mean, how could any of us stick to a schedule when we all felt as if we were living in the upside down? My “new normal” (I’m so tired of that phrase) proved that just because I started something, it was okay to let it go if it wasn’t working anymore.
Many, many, many of you have asked when the new 2021 Nourished Planner will be available. Sadly, it won’t.
After three years of publishing the printed Nourished Planner, my partner Alexa and I decided 2020 would be our last year. We loved brainstorming, writing, and designing it for you, and for us. We totally relied on it for ourselves as the hub for keeping organized, inspired, and moving toward our goals. But with all that 2020 delivered, the planner was one thing I had to let go.
I’ve received lots of questions about what planner I’ll be using instead. After checking out a few, this is the planner I will be using. It’s certainly not the same as the Nourished Planner, but it’s nicely designed, organized, and ready for my pen to start filling it in.
Looking toward 2021, I am feeling really good, SO GOOD, about where we are going and where we will be in the coming year. I’m motivated. I’m hopeful. I’m ready to begin filling in the calendar with plans and dreams I KNOW will happen next year. Because I will make them happen. A new chapter is about to begin. And I’m positive about feeling positive about it.
And because I know you’ll ask, the cookies in the photo above are: Brown butter chocolate chip cookies from my friend Sarah‘s amazing cookie cookbook, these snickerdoodles, and the gingersnaps recipe is from a friend.
