Hello and happy Friday!
I’ve never been one to go half way, especially when I put on my Julie McCoy cruise director hat to share intel, tips, and info about things I love that I think will make your life better too. It’s why I started posting this list of Friday Faves 8 years ago.
It seems that each and every week when I sit down to write up this list of Friday Faves, I tell myself DON’T OVER DO IT! Keep it simple. People like simple. They don’t have that much time. They don’t want to be overwhelmed. And by “them”, I mean YOU.
But then I check out the links I’ve saved from the week, and find myself looking for more on the web to share. Why do I always have this feeling like it still isn’t enough? That we’re enough? Guess what? We are. I am.
So I’m going to try an experiment. I’m going to try and be more concise when necessary. Whaaat? Me? Can I even do that? I’m sure I’ll still drone on when I have something I really want to convey, but I am going to try and be more respectful of your time, and mine, and not over do it.
Will you let me know what you think of my new strategy? I always love hearing back from you so I don’t feel like I’m sitting here at the keyboard blindly talking just to a blinking cursor on a computer screen. Tell me, tell me, tell me more.
Also, that enchilada pic up top? It’s filled with black beans and leftover Mexican corn dip (recipe coming to the blog soon), but is based on this enchilada recipe here.
So how about we get to the point because I’m already droning on, and dig into this week’s Friday Faves. It’s FRIYAY! YAYYYY!

I love your Friday lists and I don’t mind a long list! If I can’t read the whole thing, I keep the browser tab up and like knowing there are some items left to read as I have pockets of time throughout the weekend. Thanks for your efforts!
Thanks for this, Ashley!
I look forward to your FF every week. I love the food blog, but it’s nice to see links to other blogs and interests that I may not have found else where. Thanks for introducing me to new things!

Thank you so much Shani!
I always love change however please don’t stray too far from your original FF. I love FF and look forward to it each and every week. Thank you for your consideration of our time. Sometimes I look at the length of your FF and if it a shorter one I instantly feel somewhat sad. I have been enjoying FF – Heidi and your family exploits for years. Keep doing what you are doing.
Thanks so much for sharing this Marcia! That means so much!
I like concise. I love your links, I love the recipes you share (which I can always count on you to find the best ) but the romance is in the eating for me, not in the gathering/collecting. No matter what you settle on, I will be a fan. Thank you for all you do.
Thanks for being a real fan Lucy!!
