Hello, hello, and welcome to this week’s Friday Faves!

At our house there’s nothing more cozy and fall-like than a big bowl of soup, and if my husband is cooking, it’s going to be his mom’s hamburger soup recipe. It’s so simple, so good, and has all the essential elements of a great bowl: Lots of flavor, chunky bites, and it’s actually pretty inexpensive to make — especially when it delivers leftovers. Reader Kim agrees, and recently posted this review: “It’s a chilly day in North Carolina; time to start eating this soup, although I do eat it all year round. Wow, this is a fabulous soup, best ever! I make it quite a bit. Our polish family loves soup and we eat 3 bowls minimum. I do add ½ bag frozen veggies. Thanks so much for sharing. Will look for more of your recipes.” This time around, I tweaked the recipe too and added a can of garbanzo beans for more protein and fiber, because, why not?!! Give it a try, you’ll love it too.
