Hello! It’s Friday Faves day!

This weekend’s plans call for harvesting the rest of my garden tomatoes, then pulling the plants before a surprise early morning frost hits and decimates them. My favorite garden tomatoes are, and will forever be, the baby cherry tomatoes that I pop like candy. I have some beautiful beefsteaks ready to eat, but when I had a hankering for meatballs and marinara this week, it was canned San Marzano tomatoes I went for instead. Tip: ALWAYS look for DOP-certified Italian import San Marzanos for the real deal, not an imposter. Instead of spaghetti, rigatoni was this week’s pasta of choice, but any fave pasta will do! The house smelled glorious, my craving was cured, and I had leftovers for the week! You really need to try it!
