Hello FoodieCrush fans, happy almost-Super Bowl Friday!

First, thank you to all of you fabulous readers in this community who sent emails and inspiration last week! I’ve been catching up on responding, so if you haven’t yet heard from me, just know I am noting each one! You guys are the best, and it’s so helpful to hear from you!!
For the first time in years, I’m not hosting a Super Bowl party. Instead, we’ll be heading to a friend’s house where I’ve been asked to bring my favorite, easy pigs in a blanket with a shake of everything bagel seasoning. I’m more than happy to hand over the reins and bring my one potluck dish. Aw, who am I kidding? I’ll be taking my favorite football dip too. Now I just need to print out my Super Bowl bingo cards and we will be ready to go!
My Instagram feed has been flooded with tributes to the late, great Catherine O’Hara, who passed away last week. She was truly amazing in Schitt’s Creek, but my favorite role of hers was as dog handler Cookie Fleck in the movie Best in Show — one of the funniest movies of all time. The Westminster Dog Show displayed a fitting tribute to O’Hara during the competition this week, and it was a tear-jerker. What a woman, what a treasure.
