First of all, thank you all so much for making Friday Faves one of my most favorite parts of the week, and for coming back to each post and wanting more! We all need a little distraction in our day, and I hope this little part of the www gives you an escape, a place to be inspired and maybe even find a few laughs along the way.
The holidays were wonderfully relaxing and warmed my heart with lots of family and friend time. This year they did their job in rejuvenating me. The rest left me recharged and rejuvenated, and I am so ready to forge my way into 2016.
It’s a new year, a new me, and a long list of new recipes, ideas and links for you.
Next, a few things to take note of.
I love sharing at FoodieCrush on Instagram almost as much as I love admiring my favorite Instagrammers. The images above are the most liked images I posted in 2015. Just like me, you guys like a mix of savory and sweet with a little bit of healthy and a lot of cheese. Thanks for following along in 2015 and cheers to what’s to come in 2016. If you’re not following yet, find me under the username FoodieCrush.
If you want to see another, less edited and real-time side of FoodieCrush where I share a whole lot of behind the not always pretty scenes of what goes on around here, follow me on Snapchat under the username FoodieCrush. It’s seriously my new favorite social media because it’s fast, easy and insider-y.
If you’re a Facebook fan, thank you for making 2015 an amazing sharing experience! If you haven’t joined me there yet, I’m FoodieCrush over there, too. It’s where every day I share my favorite FoodieCrush recipes, old and new, and lots of others from bloggers and the www.
I have lots of plans for 2016 and can’t wait to share them with you. But why give the goodies away all at once? You know I’m a tease, so first let’s dip into this week’s list of Friday Faves.

One of my goals for 2016 is to read more books instead of magazines, instead of my iPhone, and instead of trolling cookbooks. This list of books to read for enjoyment is exactly what I need.
But keep in mind…

But first…
My man and I are binging through last season’s episodes of this. I’m liking it but missing the twists and turns and utter deviousness of seasons 1 and 2. Staying tuned ’til the end in hopes the duplicity rebounds.
I’m also totally hanging on because of her impeccable style. Oh, if only I could parlay 10% of her style I’d be 100% ahead of my game.
