Hey hey and happy Friday!
With most of the country digging out of drifts of snow, it feels good to just hang out at home and cozy up with nothing to do. Oh wait! That’s nothing new. It’s the same thing we’ve been doing since 2020, am I right?
But! Better times are straight ahead, I can feel it. Things are looking up. Cases are going down. My mom and dad got their first vaccine doses last night. The sun is shining. Bring on the light!
This weekend we will be watching the Super Bowl and with a much smaller viewing party aka just us. I’m not going to lie…I’m looking forward to skipping the big party this year. The noise and chatter will be at a far lower decibel so maybe I’ll actually be able to hear the half time show and a few Super Bowl commercials too. And because there will be fewer eaters, a smaller-scale cheese board will likely be happening, and less pressure on the chef for making a ton of food. Although, I probably still will. :)
So let’s get those pom poms out and let the cheers begin.
But first, let’s dig into this week’s Friday Faves.

I gave up my old mascara for this mascara and I can say it might be the best one I’ve ever used. No clumping, no smearing on my upper lids/brow, and it holds my curl all day long. Highly rec. Plus, it’s buy one get one 50% off for I don’t know how long…
