I originally intended this week’s Friday Faves to be Valentine’s heavy, but to tell you the truth, I’m just about over the deranged doily holiday, and here we still have a day to go. I’m on v-day recipe overload. Thank you Pinterest!
But I will still be making these Valentine’s cookies. It’s our family tradition.

Okay, so last week I screwed up and talked about SNL’s 40th birthday special. But it’s THIS Sunday and here’s the whole list of super star cameos who’ll be showing up in the 3 ½ hour episode. Whoa, set the DVR for extra space!

Since I messed up last Sunday, I found myself with the Grammy’s instead, witnessing an odd performance by Madonna, saved by a spectacular performance by my favorite Annie Lennox (SO good!) and happy claps for Beck, who I’ve always loved, especially after we saw him drive himself to his own concert and parked around the side of the building in his pimping Lincoln and walked right on up to the venue like no big deal. Now that’s class. Take a lesson Kanye.

I can’t wait to watch SNL this week. DVR set. I’m with you on the whole Kanye thing, good thing I wasn’t watching because I’m pretty sure I would have thrown something a the TV in a rage.
