Hi hi and happy Friday!
The ho ho has left the building! Now it’s time to look forward to the new decade about to grace us all. I for one am ready to take down my deckered flocked Christmas tree, my twinkly lit garland, and stow away our lit abominable snowman for another year.
This has been a stellar Christmas with my mom and dad, sister and her grand family here to visit and celebrate the season with tasty meals, ski days, present giving and getting, and a few games of pool and air hockey thrown in too.
This week’s Friday Faves is going to be short and sweet so we can all get back to doing the things we do with the people we love most to do them with.
Have a fantastic rest of your holiday, with the New Year about to come!

CATHLEEN JOHNSON
Dec 27, Heidi, I was so excited to recognize my Lenox Christmas pattern featured in the first photo above ! but also, a little distressed that I can’t find any recipe for the cranberry-looking side dish (possibly a Santa’s hat ?) It looks like recipe that my mom used to make, long since lost, that i would love to have again, but couldn’t find it in today’s blog. Would you be able to help me find it ? Thank you !
Heidi
Hi Cathleen! My mom gave me the china for Christmas years ago so it gets it’s annual workout. The cranberry side is called Angela’s Frosty Cranberry Salad. It’s a frozen jello salad with a whip cream topping. It’s awesome. I’ll have to make and share.
