Is it possible that the ghouls and garish amounts of candy that is Halloween was really only one week ago? I feel like there was a huge build up and then POOF! It was gone.

Speaking of the holidays, would you hate me if I said I’m putting up my Christmas tree this weekend?
Will the fact that I’m also planting spring daffodils make it any better?
Smudge announced that there are only 8 Sunday’s left until Christmas. And if you’re reading this over the weekend you can count that down to 7 so I’m thinking it’s high time. I’m a Christmas girl at heart afterall.
I might chalk all of these headlong plans into the holidays are due to the switcheroo to Daylight Saving and that now by 5:00 pm my kitchen is cast into complete and utter darkness. And I’m kinda digging it that way. It’s time to hibernate, cozy up and really dig into the holiday season.
And that leads us right into this week’s Friday Faves…
If you find Daylight Savings confusing and annoying (food bloggers, they feel our pain!), you’ll love this. “You have to come with me! We’re going to a place where Daylight Saving doesn’t exist… They call it Arizona.”
“Don’t compare yourself to everybody else and don’t try to do exactly what somebody who is successful .. and making it big. Don’t do exactly what they do. Do what you have a passion for! ” ~ HEY! I said that!
Man! I hate my voice, but I had a great time chatting magazine-making, blog-creating and ebook-generating in this podcast.

Awesome list, Heidi! I pretty much want to comment on every single share. Haha But that apartment is TINY! I think I just developed claustrophobia by just watching it. Have to admit, though, they utilize the space quite efficiently! And that carbonara! Looks to die for!

I will not hate you, but would rather ask you nicely to refrain from Christmas decorating until November 12th….in respect of our Veterans and to observe Remembrance (Veteran’s US) Day respectfully.

Something strange has happened to your site. It takes forever to connect. This morning I timed it because the slowness has become so annoying. It took 1 minute 17 seconds !! Something is definitely wrong. This only happens with your site not all the other ones I follow.
heidi
Thanks Jude, I’ll look into it!
molly yeh
