Use my weekly meal plans to take the stress out of dinnertime! These premade meal plans and grocery shopping lists are the best way to save time and money while feeding your family healthy and nutritious meals. With a daily main course and mix and match sides, dinner just got a whole lot easier!

This week’s meal plan includes: Creamy mushroom sauce chicken, pasta puttanesca, chicken pot pie, butternut squash beef stew, tuna noodle casserole, with a baked brie party appetizer, and mix and match sides.
To simplify your grocery shopping list:
- Use your favorite veggies for the chicken pot pie, stew, tuna noodle casserole, and roast the same veggies as a side dish for creamy mushroom chicken.
- To save time on your chicken pot pie, feel free to use rotisserie chicken and premade frozen pie crust.
- Most of the main dishes are hearty enough to be served on their own, but garlic bread and a side salad make pretty much every meal better!
- Instead of making garlic bread and salad, purchase premade garlic bread and a salad kit from the grocery store.

Meal Prep & Leftover Tips

Creamy Mushroom & Leek Chicken: When cooking your chicken, be sure not to crowd the pan and let the chicken cook undisturbed until ready to flip. Serve with lemon rice and your favorite roast veg!

Pasta Puttanesca: If you don’t want to use anchovie fillets, you can use anchovie paste instead. So you don’t waste the rest of the tube of paste, you can freeze tablespoon portions, keep them in a Ziploc bag, and freeze for up to 6 months.

Chicken Pot Pie: To simplify the pot pie-making process, make sure your dough is made and chilled for at least 30 minutes ahead of time (or make it the day before).

Butternut Squash Beef Stew: Choose a bottle of wine for this stew that you’d enjoy drinking on its own. You don’t want to skimp on flavor with a cheap bottle that adds skunk instead of spunk. If you don’t have butternut squash on hand, swap in cubed sweet potatoes instead.

Tuna Noodle Casserole: If you don’t like peas, substitute with broccoli, green beans, mushrooms, carrots, or bell pepper. Or add extra veggies!

Baked Brie: Feel free to switch up the toppings. Try any combination of jam you like, toasted pecans or walnuts, fresh cranberries, blueberries, or pomegranate, dried currants, and fresh rosemary.

Garlic Bread: The garlic butter lasts in the fridge for at least 1 month, so make a batch and keep it refrigerated for when the craving hits. Bring the butter to room temperature or give it a quick blast in the microwave to soften before spreading.

Roasted Vegetables: For vegetables like cauliflower and potatoes, place the vegetables cut side down so they have direct exposure to the heat conducted from the sheet pan. This creates a crisp, caramelized crust.
