Hello Friday! Welcome to the faves!
One of my most favorite, super easy recipes here on the blog made another splash at dinner this week: Pasta pomodoro. It’s the recipe I turn to 90% of the time when I don’t know what I’m in the mood for, or the fridge is feeling lackluster, or I just don’t have the oomph to cook a meal. I use fresh or canned tomatoes (always San Marzano, and only from Italy) and whatever pasta I have in the drawer. Just one more example that simple can be sensational—in under 20 minutes.

I’ve had the worst luck with getting wildflowers to grow. But, I had a brainstorm after re-seeding my divots while golfing. I’m going to adapt the sand and seed in a golf cart sand bottle method for fixing fairways with my wildflower seed for grass seed. I’m hoping the sand will give the seeds something to root into? Maybe? We shall see!
That’s it for this week! Have a great weekend and cook something food!
