Happy Friday and here’s to ringing in the holiday season with all of you!
First off, I want to thank each and every one of you with a heartfelt THANK YOU who come by FoodieCrush each week to discover new recipes, other food blogs and any other odd nuggets and nibbles you find worthy of your eyeballs and clicks.
I wouldn’t be here without you.
You are what makes FoodieCrush tick so thank you for each and every e-mail, comment, click, Pin, tweet and like. I am here for you and thanks to you. And again, I thank you.
This holiday I’m taking a break from holiday tradition and celebrating with my family island-style where we’re drinking rum punch instead of wine (or should I say, in addition to wine) and fresh caught grouper fish and chips instead of Thanksgiving turkey.
I’m also taking a break from the traditional Friday Faves list so I can spend more time with my sweetest family that I am so thankful for and to give you more time to enjoy you and yours too.
So this week, I’m taking a Friday Faves list break.
However, I can’t leave you totally empty handed so I’m leaving you with one of my most favorite things and THE BEST VIDEO EVER—that has become a viral sensation and a perfect way to start the holidays.
And even better, here’s the behind the scenes of how they put this whole holiday table together.
Imagine my delight when I saw that not only was this tablescape filmed in my home state, but it features local homeless animals from Utah Humane Society.
Remember: Adopt. Don’t Shop.
This holiday consider giving to others, whether they’re of the human or four-legged variety in need of help or companionship.
On the rescue note, we had a BLAST day-fostering puppies for Potcake Place K9 Rescue on Turks and Caicos and Hugo made his way right into our laps and hearts.
Goes to show, it doesn’t matter where you are, you can always make a difference.
Have a fantastic weekend friends, and get out and do something good.
As always, thank you for reading and supporting companies I partner with, which allows me to create more unique content and recipes for you. This post contains affiliate links. As always, all opinions are my own.
