Hiya friends and neighbors, and HAPPY FRIDAY!
I love winter. I really, really, really do. I love the snow storms. I love the hibernating. I love all the comfort food and lazy Sunday breakfasts eaten in bed, huddled under the covers. But damn man. Right about now I’m feeling like the dang groundhog who needs to break free from my hole. Who’s with me?
See, by this time last year we’d already returned from a sunshine-filled cruise and had a big spring break vacation on the books (check out my Instagram stories if you’re curious).
This year, I’ve been horribly lacking in vacation planning and I’m surprised at the mental toll it’s taking on me.
The drearies have settled in.
That’s why I’ve become a believer that looking forward to vacations is just as good for you as going on them. They don’t have to be big, a little weekender would fit in just right and disrupt the sameness this in-between season seems to plant upon us.
So here’s a question: If you could go on vacation, anywhere, right now, where would it be?
Time to start vacation planning, because, hello!—it’s for your health :) !
But enough about that, let’s dig into this week’s Friday Faves.
