Use my weekly meal plans to take the stress out of dinnertime! These premade meal plans and grocery shopping lists are the best way to save time and money while feeding your family healthy and nutritious meals. With a daily main course and mix and match sides, dinner just got a whole lot easier!

This week’s meal plan includes: buffalo chicken pasta with a wedge salad, better-than-taco-bell ground beef tacos and pinto beans, grilled salmon with pesto pasta salad, Asian pork tenderloin with sesame broccoli and soba noodles, tuna noodle casserole, and salmon cream cheese bagels for brunch.
To simplify your grocery shopping list:
- You can cut out more time from the preparation by using a store-bought rotisserie chicken instead of cooking the chicken breasts for the pasta.
- Select ground beef that isn’t too lean, 85% lean ground beef is perfect for making tacos.
- Pork tenderloin is typically sold in packages of two, and you’ll be using both tenderloins for this recipe (you need around 3 pounds of tenderloin in total).
- For the sesame broccoli choose heads of broccoli with shorter stalks so there’s less waste since the florets are the main act of this show.
- Choose a nice filet of salmon with the skin ON (king, chinook, coho, or sockeye).
- Sub out the peas or add your favorite veggies into the tuna casserole: broccoli, green beans, mushrooms, carrots, red bell pepper.
- Use quality canned tuna — packed in water for a drier tuna, or tuna packed in oil for a more creamy bite.
- I like to pair savory bagels with the salmon cream cheese spread. Choose full size, thin, or mini sized sesame, garlic, asiago, plain, or everything bagels.

Meal Prep & Leftover Tips

Buffalo Chicken Pasta: Try this recipe with a different type of hearty noodle such as spaghetti, rotini, rigatoni, or penne pasta.

Ground Beef Tacos: To break down the taco meat very finely, use a potato masher or a meat masher. Or, use your spatula and take your time breaking up the ground beef.

Grilled Salmon: My husband says to (carefully!) place your hand 3 to 4 inches above the grill grates. When you can hold your hand in place for (3) one-one thousand counts, the grill is the right temperature to start grilling.

Asian Pork Tenderloin: Pork tenderloin is best grilled fast, over high heat. This is not a cut of meat you want to cook low and slow. It’s super lean, so grilling it over high heat in about 15 minutes works best.

Salmon Cream Cheese Bagels: Make the cream cheese ahead of time and save for later. The cream cheese mixture will last for 1 week to 10 days in the refrigerator.

Wedge Salad: Make the dressing in advance: The blue cheese dressing tastes the best after it’s had 20ish minutes to hang out in the fridge. This gives the flavors time to come together and become friends.

Pesto Potato Salad: Instead of basil pesto in the dressing, try kale pesto, walnut pesto, arugula pesto, or tomato pesto.

Sesame Broccoli: To add more umami Asian flavor, mix a teaspoon or so of soy sauce, ponzu, or a dab of miso paste with the sesame oil and rice vinegar for more umami and depth of flavor.

Sesame Soba Noodles: Unlike traditional pasta noodles, soba noodles DO need a rinse or two in cold water. This removes the gluten and starches released while cooking and prevents the noodles from turning into mush.
