Hello and happy Friday with a heavy heart.
The mass shootings in Buffalo and Texas (just look at those baby faces) have left me absolutely disgusted and totally disheartened. When will our senators finally make a change and stop ignoring what 90% of Americans want and institute background checks for gun purchases, if nothing else? If you didn’t see it, you have to watch how Coach Steve Kerr said it best. I couldn’t sympathize more with his dismay, his fury, and his demand.
I’m fully immersed in side salad mode and added edamame to my super simple-to-make Vietnamese noodle salad I served with my 30-minute marinated flank steak and grilled corn on the cob this week. It was so good it may make a repeat performance this weekend.
I cannot wait to sit my butt down in a seat with a bucket of buttery popcorn to see this movie on the big screen. I hope the volleyball game scene is re-enacted. Oh baby, those boys still take my breath away.
