Happy Friday friends!
Last Sunday we had the most AMAZING brunch ever, on a whim, at SLC’s Grand America. We picked our Smudge up from the airport at 8:30 am after a week in Disneyworld, and as anticipated, she was ravenous. Us too. I’ve always heard about the Grand America brunch but I’d never been. At first we decided on going to the Little America coffee shop, which is awesome, but then blew the pants off the idea and said let’s just BUFFET!
I’ve been to a lot of brunches in my day. But this brunch outdid them all. So I’m just saying, if you are EVER in SLC, make a Sunday reservation. You will not be disappointed.
On that note…
Every week, I hear from you that Friday Faves might be one of the most favorite parts of your week.
That you wake up and start your day by darting through the list.
That you sneak through the links on Friday afternoon when your boss isn’t looking.
That you wait until Saturday morning to traipse through the links with your lazy day cup of coffee.
And to that and to all of you I say, THANK YOU!
Because of you, I skip my lou through the web to discover new things I like and I hope you like to. If you ever have a favorite you’d like me to share, I’d love to hear it!
Email me at [email protected] or tweet, tag me on Instagram or Snap me at @foodiecrush and let me know. I love sharing your faves too!
On that note, let’s not waste any more time, let’s dig into this week’s Friday Faves!

Add me to the list of your Friday Faves fans! As someone who has LOVED to cook for more than 25 years, I really enjoy many of the outstanding food blogs available, and even try a recipe now and then….even though I have more recipes than I could possibly make in my lifetime. That being said, there is only so much time in a day to read blogs so I have pared down to faithfully reading a few favorites that offer entertaining, personal stories and awesome link lists like yours. Thanks so much!!
