Happy Friday and hello 3-day weekend and hello summer!

I cannot believe that Memorial Day is here. It seems like it was just barely New Years Eve.

And now look at us.

Fertilizing our tomatoes. Searching for the perfect swim suit that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Heading out of town. Heading to the pool. Smelling the smells of summer in the form of sunscreen. Or, smelling perfume that smells like sunscreen. I’m in either way.

This week I watched my baby get her braces off (she looks GORGEOUS!) and then traipse right on out of elementary school.

And it scares the bejeezus out of me.

Because I remember how grown up I was in 6th grade going into 7th grade. Or at least how grown up I thought I was. I don’t know. Do kids think that way these days? Or more so? I can’t even tell any more.

All I know is I never looked as cute, stylish or grown up as the junior high kids now, exhibit A and exhibit B. QUIT LAUGHING!

And so to all those graduates who are making one leap to another, congratulations. You’ve come a long way baby. However. I TOTALLY agree with this article that says millennials need to put away their juice boxes and grow up. I mean, I did.
