Hi friends and Happy Friday!
Well, it took me a minute aka 3 months to get into gear, but my summer bucket list is finally seeing those check marks next to the things I wanted to do this summer. I’m actually slaying it this week and crossed off a number of them including a weeknight canyon dinner cookout (where I took my Quinoa and Cucumber Tabbouleh Salad, Asian Ramen Noodle Salad and potato salad), zip lining with my girl before she goes back to school (Monday, ugh), hitting another free Wednesday night Deer Valley outdoor concert, and then staying overnight here after the concert for an end of summer celebration, DURING THE WEEK! Check, check, and check!
Good thing I’m finally buttoning things up on the bucket list since summer is just about over. So, this is the thing I just need to admit to myself: I like to think I perform best under pressure, but sadly that pronouncement is totally bunk and it’s because this is what I really am (#3 is totally me.) I still have hopes and goals of shedding my ways, and am continually working on it.
But enough about me, let’s get you into this week’s list of Friday Faves.
Ready. Set. Click those links.

Balsamic and basil and peaches, oh my! This chicken looks amazing.
And here’s a savory treat I can really get behind. Who needs a pineapple upside down cake when you can have a tomato and bacon one?
Also, I want a date with this no-churn ice cream.

I wondered why my grass was all flattened down when I came home a few days ago, because my cousin Candace (and her rockstar thighs) and her fiancé were filming one of their workout vlogs (below) while staying with us. She’s a powerhouse and his 140 lb. weight loss transformation is totally inspiring, and like he says, if he can do it, anyone can.

I really enjoy podcasts, but man… so much content and only so much time. Plus, I have this focus issue, so while I can have music on, I cannot be focused on a podcast and other item at the same time.
What is the recipe for the salads shown, but not listed…a grain with cucumbers etc?
Thank you,j
