Well would you look at that? We made it through to another Friday! Happy Friday Faves, friends.
Looking back on my week I realize how much I had to get done that I didn’t do. Playing catch up after travel is always a challenge, but I’m feeling good about rolling into next week with a cleaned up inbox (I use this to clear out bundles of similar e-mails) and my invoicing is up to date.

I love creating content. I hate doing accounting. It’s the #1 worst part of my job.
It’s tax day. Send wine.
But first, THIS ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️!
Feel the motion of love! And my husband’s band along with it!
If you’re in SLC this Friday night and have a case of the 80’s, you MUST join me at Liquid Joe’s where my husband and his band, Big Face, will be opening for Gene Loves Jezebel. Show starts at 8:30, 1249 E. 3300 S. SLC.
I know, RIGHT?? Talk about full circle. My husband and I saw Gene Loves Jezebel on one of our first dates. Now, I’m off to buy a few cans of hair spray and a sweatshirt that coyly slips off my shoulder to wear to the gig. So hot.
This week I was lucky to be invited to a dinner hosted by Lindt Chocolates here in Salt Lake City. It was held at a long-running restaurant that knows how to keep their menu relevant, Bambara at the Hotel Monaco.
Bambara has been named one of four Salt Lake City restaurants to receive the AAA Four Diamond award rating and continues to inspire. Menu items range from hoity to humble, and their Blue Cheese House Cut Potato Chips (oh the melty cheese!) are the perfect balance of both sides of the spectrum.
The meal and service were top notch per usual and one of the best parts of the dinner—besides our chocolate truffle goodie bags—was I had the opportunity to be seated with bloggers from niches outside of food.
These gals are crazy talented and driven, so if you’re in need of some new blogger inspiration, be sure to check them out:

Thank you Lindt for the opportunity to make these new connections.
But enough about me, let’s get into this week’s Friday Faves! Hop to the left, scoot to the right and let’s boogie.

What I Pinned This Week
We’re in that in between time when fresh garden flavors still have a bit of time to hit their peak. The secret to pulling the most flavor from veggies is roasting them. Warm up your ovens and pull out the sheet pans. It’s time to get roasty toasty. Here are a few flavors I pinned this week that you should think about trying too.
Creamy Miso Pasta with Brussels Sprouts
Miso with pasta. So lovely and another great recipe from two favorite bloggers.
Roasted Teriyaki Mushrooms with Broccolini Soba Noodles
Caramelizing the mushrooms is key to taking maximum advantage of their flavor.
Roasted Baby Artichokes and Pearl Onions
I’ve never met an artichoke I didn’t like and this recipe proves I’m not starting now.
And that’s a wrap folks. Have a great weekend and I hope you find yourself in the kitchen cooking something good!
