Happy 4th of July weekend ‘yo!
This week was a firecracker for sure as I ran around like a chicken with its head cut off working to meet deadlines, write posts, take pics, take meetings and get sh*t handled so I can enjoy my 4th o’ July celebrations sans bloggity blog. Not that I don’t love you guys but I’m ready for the weekend. *clink!*

This week started off with our first visit to our favorite farmers market that is actually on a farm. I know, shocking! Smudge was enamored with the baby alpaca rescues and I gotta say, I was too. The produce is still coming in and it was blazes hot but these baby’s tongue lickings kept us cool. Thanks for entertaining us Gary and Matthew, the alapac babies.
Mid-week found me sitting by the lake sampling some amazing new dishes at Deer Valley Resort’s Grocery Café and had the most beautiful caprese salad I’ve ever seen! I’m ruined forever more. Take my advice, if you’re in Salt Lake City and looking to escape the heat and eat, head to Park City because the deck at Grocery Café is where you need to be. (p.s. the food photos on their site are by moi!)
Then I made you a video. Did you see it?
And now we’re rounding it all out with this week’s Friday Faves. Let’s sparkle it up!
My husband watched this video belwo, then called my daughter in, then they called me in. Watch it. It’s pretty funny. Really.

This week I caved and I joined Snapchat. I know, one more social media outlet to suck up my time. Actually, I’ve had my username @foodiecrush for a while (do you have yours?) but just started doing videos this week and I gotta say, I wasn’t a believer and thought it was only for the cool teen kids, but it is really kinda fun. I think I have 3 followers (but they don’t tell you how many you have so it doesn’t really matter!) but if you want to follow me, please do! Lots of behind the scenes at FC HQ! Simply take a photo of the snapchat logo above and boom! You’re in. If you’d like, leave your Snap-name in the comments below and check out this guide to how to add friends on Snapchat.
