Cookie Cravings Print and Digital Cookbook Giveaway

by heidi on May 30, 2012

Post image for Cookie Cravings Print and Digital Cookbook Giveaway

Chocolate chip or sugar, dipped in chocolate or stuffed, there’s hardly a cookie combination that hasn’t yet been discovered. Or is there?

I love coming up with new ways to share my love of food with others. That’s why I created Foodie Crush digital magazine—which by the way you still have a few more days to submit your favorite frozen treat recipe for the summer edition. I love concepting new and different ways to package recipes that makes my mouth water and stomach growl.

Food bloggers are some of the most inventive recipe developers in the world of cooking. And when it comes to cookies, Maria’s inventive combinations are at the top of the pack.

Foodie Crush Cookie CravingsI recently teamed with Maria to create the e-cookbook Cookie Cravings, sharing 30 of her favorite cookie recipes with you. Some cookie recipes are new and some are revisits from her blog Two Peas and Their Pod. All of the recipes feature new photography and new behind the scenes stories.

Foodie Crush Two Peas and Their Pod CinnadoodlesI mean take a look at this Cinnadoodles recipe for sweet sakes.

Thank you to all who have purchased the e-cookbook digital package. And if you haven’t yet, you can purchase here. We loved providing delicious recipe for you and your families and your comments have been amazing!

And now at your request, we’ve added two more purchase options: You can now buy Cookie Cravings for your Amazon Kindle at the amazing introductory price of just .99—but only for the next week before the price goes up. And If you’re still craving the lovely printed page, we are offering a full-color, printed cookbook option for sale on Blurb.

And to thank you for your support I’m sharing the digital and the printed version of Cookie Cravings with you. It’s time for a giveaway!

Two readers will each win one complete Cookie Cravings Digital Package as well as one print copy of the cookbook. And then my friends, its time to get baking.

How to win:

I’ve really enjoyed the digital book but I’m old school, nothing beats a real book in my hands. I’d happily pay extra for a printed version of any book. You are adorable peaking out from the cookbook! :)

Reply

Stacey Sargent May 30, 2012 at 7:54 am

I still prefer to read my recipes the “old” way…through a physical book. I just love touching the pages, and how they slowly become “dirty” from making the recipe right next to them.

I like both digitally and in print; however, it’s easier to get a recipe on my email that I can view on my phone at the store for ingredients and then use the ipad/phone as I’m cooking. I will point out that it’s easier to read a book, while cooking since the page never goes blank.

This is so hard to decide! I love reading cookbooks in print format when I’m not cooking. However, if I’m in the kitchen, having digital recipes on the iPad makes it much easier. If I have to pick one – since we’re talking about a cookbook – I’ll say the digital version.

I am getting used to ebooks, I have a nook color and both nook and kindle on my iphone but I still seem to always prefer hard copies of cookbooks although I have many ecookbooks in my collection. I guess I just grew up with collecting cookbooks so I like to keep my collection going with hard copies. I always seem to have stickies and notes you name it on pages. Just my little thing. So happy to hear there is a print version of Cookie Cravings now! :)

Although e-books and digital print formats are convenient and very portable, there’s nothing quite like a printed book for me. I love watching my shelves fill up with my collection of amazing (and even not so amazing, but I still love them) cookbooks and recipe collections. I love looking at the covers and deciding which one I want to sit down with and peruse and use.
